About Rockhampton AC Repairs
We repair, service and install air conditioners for homes and businesses in Rockhampton and along the Capricorn Coast. That covers split and ducted systems, plus the units in shops, offices and food businesses.
We work for homeowners, landlords and property managers, renters, small businesses and shop owners. Whatever the system, the job starts the same way. We find out what is actually wrong, explain it in plain terms and quote in writing before work starts.
Air conditioning in Rockhampton works hard. Long hot summers, storms and power surges, and salt air on the coast all wear units down, so we plan repairs around how the system is used. Brands we work on include Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Panasonic.

How We Work
Fault first, parts second
We test before we replace. That means checking airflow, the electrical parts, the outdoor unit and the refrigerant circuit to find the real fault. A warm room or a noisy fan can have several causes, and guessing means paying for parts you did not need. You hear the finding before any repair starts.
Plain quotes
You get a written, itemised quote before any work begins. It lists what we found, what we will do and the parts involved, so there is nothing to decode afterwards. If the job changes once a panel is off, we stop and talk to you first.
Clean, careful work
We isolate the power before we open a unit, protect floors and walls around the indoor head, and take old parts and packaging away with us. Ceiling and roof access is done with care, and the system is tested before we leave.
Advice that suits the climate
Heat, humidity and salt air each wear a system differently. We tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense or the unit is better replaced, and what to do between services, such as keeping filters clean, to help it last through the next summer.
The Rules Air Conditioning Work Follows
Two sets of rules cover most of our work. Handling fluorocarbon refrigerant takes an ARC refrigerant handling licence, and doing it without one is an offence. ARC guidance also calls it illegal to top up a system that has not been fully tested, such as one with unrepaired leaks, which is why a leak is fixed before any gas goes back in.
Wiring has its own authority. In Queensland that means an electrical worker licence or a restricted electrical work licence, and a refrigerant licence does not stand in for either. The QBCC licenses mechanical services work, which takes in installing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning in homes and commercial buildings. We point to these as the rules the trade works under, not as licences we hold.
Where We Work
We work across Rockhampton on both sides of the Fitzroy River, and out to Gracemere and Mount Morgan, which sit in Rockhampton Regional Council along with the city. On the coast we cover air conditioning repairs in Yeppoon, Emu Park and Zilzie. Send the quote form with your address if you are not sure we reach you.
